Wesley Day Care Center has a new owner! Now you may be wondering who this new owner is, well, let's take a moment to introduce you to Michelle!
Michelle started her childcare career during her college years. In fact, it was here in Glen Burnie at Wesley Day Care, with Mrs. Christine, that she spent three wonderful years gaining experience. Later she left to raise her family in the 1990’s she opened an in-home day care program which she ran until the arrival of her 3rd son. Michelle spent most of her time volunteering while raising her three boys. As Secretary of the Bodkin Elementary PTA and later President of the PTA, Michelle has a strong background in supporting and working with children. She is also an active member of her local church.
Once a Sunday School Teacher, she’s now a lead welcome center volunteer greeting members and supporting fellow volunteers. Professionally Michelle has been working side by side supporting her husband in his marketing agency for the past 10 years. As a child, Michelle’s mother would ask her what she wanted to be when she grew up. Her response was always the same “a mom”. Michelle is beyond excited to return to the Wesley team now as owner & operator.
Michelle plans to carry on the long-standing traditions of providing a passionate, fun, and educational child care experience for your children while introducing some new innovations that will focus on enriching your children's and our staff's lives.
